Email overload for executives

I'm here to talk to you about email overload and in particular email overload for executives which is the group that I work with.
Its not unusual for me to see executives handling 200 emails a day. And the first point i make to them is to really understand how much absolute time that is.
We generally agree that its about 2 minutes for each email, some deleted immediately and some of course taking half an hour to answer.
But on average about 2 minutes each and of course the maths goes
2 minutes x 200 emails = 400 minutes which is 6 1/2 hrs and normally they're quite surprised when that maths is done to realise how much of the day could be consumed by email.
